Bus
ZURICH SCHOOL
PARENT/STUDENT BUS CONTRACT
Below are policies (8124) and procedures that will regulate the use of Zurich School’s contracted bus service.
BUS RULES

FOLLOW DIRECTIONS THE FIRST TIME THEY ARE GIVEN

KEEP HANDS, FEET, AND OBJECTS TO YOURSELF

REMAIN SITTING IN THE SEAT YOU ARE ASSIGNED

NO EATING ON THE BUS

TAKE CARE OF YOUR OWN PERSONAL BELONGINGS AND TRASH
CONSEQUENCES:

STUDENT WILL RECEIVE VERBAL REPRIMAND

IF NOT COMPLIANT, A PHONE CALL WILL BE MADE TO THE PARENT TO PICK UP STUDENT IMMEDIATELY, AND STUDENT WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO RIDE THE BUS FOR ONE WEEK. THE SCHOOL WILL BE NOTIFIED.

A THIRD OFFENSE WILL RESULT IN PERMANENT LOSS OF BUS TRANSPORTATION FOR THE STUDENT UNTIL PARENTS AND STUDENT MEET WITH THE SCHOOL BOARD AT THEIR REGULARLY SCHEDULED MONTHLY MEETING.
ANY FIGHTING, BULLYING, OBSCENE GESTURES OR LANGUAGE, OR DIRECT REFUSALS TO FOLLOW THE BUS DRIVER’S ORDERS WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE REMOVAL AND TERMINATION OF BUS TRANSPORTATION FOR 6 WEEKS ON THE FIRST OFFENSE AND REFERRAL TO SCHOOL BOARD. A SECOND OFFENSE WILL RESULT IN THE PERMANENT REMOVAL FROM THE BUS FOR THE REST OF THE SCHOOL YEAR.
Bus Driver will document all violations of the rules and consequences.
